In many countries, international students are not free to hear the Gospel and Bibles are prohibited. Their time studying in this country may be their only chance to experience the love of Christians and hear the truth about Jesus. Will you support us to share the truth about Jesus with international students from hard-to-reach places?
Ariana, a young woman from a strict Muslim country in the Middle East, came to the UK to study. Although she was desperately lonely, Ariana persevered through the course to complete her degree. On her return to the UK to continue her studies, Ariana began attending some social activities organised by Friends International. Although she had never heard the Gospel, Ariana was drawn to God’s love. Her faith grew and four years later, Ariana surrendered her life to Christ. At her baptism, Ariana testified that although the road ahead would be tough, nothing could be more important than knowing Christ.
Please pray for our staff and volunteers as they reach out to international students like Ariana and share their faith sensitively.
Will you make a donation to support our work, sharing Jesus with international students from hard-to-reach places, by opening more local centres and recruiting additional staff to reach out to different cultures?
Yours in Christ,
Alan Tower, National Director
P.s. Thank you for your support, it is really appreciated, and will make a difference to the lives of many international students who without your support might never hear the truth about Jesus.
