Birmingham Continues The Celebration!
We share a wonderful account from our Birmingham Centre, who on the 26th April celebrated FI’s 40th anniversary with a special event.
Mike, Centre Team Leader writes;
“To God be the glory – great things he has done! We had a wonderful afternoon of celebration at St Stephen’s Church in Birmingham. Many past and present supporters, volunteers and team members came together for a service of thanksgiving followed by a lavish afternoon tea. Peter and Lynette Teagle (Birmingham 2001-2007) gave the reading and address, inspiring us again with God’s great love and redemption plan. Ron and Patty McCulloch (1993-2017) led the prayers, praising God for his faithfulness and for his work among international students – also looking forward expectantly to the years ahead and recommissioning us all.
An international homegroup from St John’s Harborne led our worship; Nick, Pamela, Vivi and Susie gave their perspectives as FI Birmingham’s two longest-serving volunteers, a Philip Project team member and someone who came to faith through the ministry in Birmingham. Others sent video messages from across the world. Thank you to all who could join us, all who made the event possible, and all of you who faithfully pray for the ministry of FI in Birmingham…”
