The Latest Edition of Insight is Out Now!
Insight is the Friends International journal, which delves deeper into international student ministry.
In this edition, our guest writers explore the importance of difficult conversations. Politics, mental health, and suffering can cause uncomfortable discussion. Each of these are sensitively broached in this edition.
Francina de Pater and Anneriet Boonen, who both work for IFES in the Netherlands, give us incredibly useful insight into the possible challenges to mental health for an international student. Bethany Marsh, a Friends International Staff worker in Aberdeen, shares from her personal experiences as an American abroad, and the assumptions others make about her. Jenny Brown, who coordinates the Reach discipleship and training programme, helps us to think through why suffering should be on the agenda when it comes to discipleship of international students.
We hope you enjoy reading this edition.
