Stories Of Celebration

We’re delighted to share a recent update from our Loughborough Centre Team Leader, Tim Stanyon, as he reflects on some exciting opportunities and encouraging moments from recent weeks.

“Recently, two of our team members realised they had connected with a growing number of international PhD families. Recognising this as a wonderful opportunity provided by the Lord, they began bringing these families together. Families from Pakistan, Egypt, and several other countries are now getting involved, and we’re thrilled by the potential for regular gatherings where friendships can grow and the gospel can be shared.

This same couple also invited a German student to church and lunch with them. What happened next was a remarkable reminder of God’s ongoing work. While on holiday in Scotland, they discovered that the student was travelling in the same area. Last Sunday, they met up in Inverness, attended church together, and shared lunch – hundreds of miles from where they first met in Loughborough, yet still united in friendship and gospel conversations.

Stories like these are a real encouragement. It is such a privilege to serve alongside dedicated volunteers and to witness God opening doors, building relationships, and creating opportunities to share His love in unexpected places…”

Please continue to pray for our staff, volunteers, and the many international students and families they meet. We thank God for these wonderful moments of friendship and faith, and we look forward with excitement to all that He will continue to do.
