Stories Of Celebration: Loughborough

We share below a recent Story Of Celebration from our Loughborough centre. Tim, Centre Team Leader writes;

“Recently we organised an international student walk. During this event I got chatting to a Chinese student about Christianity. She said that she was really interested in finding out more. One of her Chinese friends had a difficult family background and struggled with a disability. She told me that he had reached out to God, had found healing for his disability and had become a Christian. It was amazing to see her openness. We asked if she had a Bible. She had an English Bible but nothing in Mandarin. “How easy is it to get a Chinese Bible?” she asked. To which my answer was; “I can get you one in five minutes!”

At the end of the walk I went into the church where we meet. One of our team members runs a Chinese Bible study and keeps Chinese Bibles in the store room. I passed on a brand new shrink wrapped Mandarin Bible and a Mandarin copy of Uncover to the student. She was beaming from ear to ear! Please pray for C as she finds out more about Jesus and that she would come to know him as her Lord and Saviour…”
